Recently, young Indian women has being affected by the novels. Since 2005 the government has

against their tradition.

First of all, it starts with India’s still the conservative sexual mores. That makes young women

choose semi-erotic romances or defiant bride that kind of things. They are going to be

challenged. Not any more obey to the man. It will create a more sensation.

Hence, India’s caste-ridden society would be influenced by books. Their fondness for love

breaches class distinctions. In a book, a boy or a girl overcomes the class and finally they fall in

love. It makes the class distinctions getting looser.

On the other hand, the more women have cash, the more they have spare time, “me time”.

When they have “me time” they read liberal books. Those provoke women to think about

traditional dress code. They has accepted it without reserve.

One article weighed the pros & cons of the sari and cocktail dress. There is no more just

obedience about the rule. They are getting changing their consideration and behavior. It seems

to take a long time. But they will not stand the roles and distinctions anymore. Through the

book, their lifestyle will be change. I expect that the women can get more freedom and they

would be important existence in society.

THE TTC STRIKE

The last weekend here in Toronto happened unexpected accident which was the ttc strike.Thereason why I picked this topic up is that I have never seen this kind of strike before . I have seen lots of companies went on a strike like motor car company , electricity and so on . But The tranportation company that go on a strike is not common issue .

Generally speaking ,It rare happen. Because The Tranportation company usually run under the goverment. But here in Toronto As far as I know they have run under the between goverment and private comapany . It can't give the definition to who run the ttc . One thing I am sure is that totally diffrent system as the other country .

This strike casued by they wanted to get more pension. It was good trying and I completely understood furthermore most of people seemed like they don't mind . But I think that's problem. Nobody complained like a to attack their web site , demo. To make matter worse they didn't give us any solution and any warning .

It is not ok for internatinal student . Especially asian student not only asian . Even they had the strike just about 1 week ago . They did again . It was shocked for me . They have just went on a strike 7 or 8 times . I'm not sure but give or take in a 10 times . Now I am going to describe what the difference is between canada and korea .

First , The tranprotation company in other country They run under the goverment and Even if they went on a strike , They would prepare some solution for citizen. Second , The reaction of people. I dare to say that Everything is going to be messed up like a chaos for example , To attack web site and too much make a phone call at their office and so on . Third , They usually have a physical fighting with police .

As I mentioned atmosphere of strike is totally different but these things are not 100% true .From what I can see , Canada has differ from korea . First , In spite of the fact that they are a public transprotation , they could go on a strike Because they have run under 50% goverment , 50% private company . Second , Canadian's reaction . Most of them just waited until they went back on the road .It was very impressed .

As I mentioned , there are lots of difference between Korea and Canada . It is not cultural gap . I guess that It is just system's difference . Whatever they do , I hope that they prepare a solution for people .

People should get married

All human beings are born into families, and families begin with the joining together of a man and woman in marriage. As you know, only men worked in the past. But, in the course of time, many people without gender distinction, have gotten a job. Nowadays they want to invest their money and life in themselves. It means that the number of people who don't wnat to get married is increasing. As far as i'm concerned, people have to consider the traditional, economic, and generational aspect of marriage, before determining that they don't want to get married. If you want my opinion, I think people should get married.


First of all, getting married is a very important tradition because it is one of the biggest events that we are able to have in our whole life. So, each culture has its specific traditional way of marriage. And the families of the couple are both involved in preparing the wedding for several months. Especially, in Asian cluture the couple needs the approval of their parents or of older people because they have more experience about marriage. Marriage is very significant for combining two families together. Tradition isn't an obligation, but I think it's valuable to maintain.


Secondly, we should think about the economic aspect of marriage because in the world there are many industries related to marriage. For example, when we want to get marriged we have to go to many places such as real estate, funiture shops, wedding shops, photo studios, and so on. And there are many products on the market for babies and children, who are the result of marriage. Since babies are the hope of our future a decrease in marriages would affect many industries in a negative way. It means decreasing marriage would affect many kinds of industries. So, it could lead to a decline in economy.


Moreover, less marriges would cause problems for the future generations. Many cultures have insisted on the importance of childlen from old times. For example, in China's case, the goal of marrige has been to produce healthy children. And some Bavarian people of southern Germany once had a "windowing" custom that took place when young women left their windows open at night so that young men could enter their bed rooms. When a woman became pregnant, the man usually asked her to marry him. (It's old-fashioned, but this culture shows the importance of children.) Also, in Korea we have a slogan about significance of children for the family. It's that "Children are the dream of the future."


In conclusion, if you think more about it, marriage is very important for our society. It could benefit the future in many ways. Therefore, all I want to say that people should get married.

Many people continue to flock to doctors to improve theri appearance. From children to adults, their investment in plastic surgery gets increase. Also, by their demand for changing appearance, new skills of surgery has been released. Many advertisements of them are easily found in mass media, such as on the websites , TV, etc.

Plastic surgery is a speacil type of surgery that involve both a person's appearance and ability to body's fuction. We can distinguish the procedure for being reconstructive as a medical way from the procedure for being cosmetic. Reconstructive procedure is the way to correct defects on the face or body, including physical birth defects, injuries from burns and the aftermath of disease treatments like rebuilding a waman's breat after surgery for breast. In the other hand, cosmetic procedures focus on beauty that people want, because they are not satisfied with their own body.

The reason why people think about the plastic surgery with favor is involved with being confidence. Now in modern society, appearance is important thing in the cases such as job interviews, presentation to make a deal at works. Also having good-looking might be one of the peer presure. This is not only about reconstructive procedures but also cosmetic procedures.

In the case of reconstructive procedures, it helps repair significant defects or problems of our body. In the mass media, it shows some people who suffer from injuries after accidents. So sometimes the TV program urges people to danate money to have operation for people who suffer from damage by burns or medical treatment. We can see how hard injured people live. Having a plastic surgery leads people who are depressed or extreamly self-critical to solve the problems physically as well as emotionally. Impulse buying

Most of girls like shopping to buy new things. Of course so do I. Because girls desire to be beautiful to other people. However, the problem is they can't stop buying something. For example, In my case I used to buy clothes or something when I fell in love the first sight. So, I spent money about $500 for a month. If I saved money, I would buy a new car. I should have saved money. And buying somethings buy using internet is comfortable to compare stuffs. But it's more dangerous for impulse buying. Because to buy somethings using internet have to wait for goods few days. We can't satisfy immediately. So, we buy something continually.

I wish I hadn't used internet shopping a lot. I saw documentary of a program which broadcasted Crazy Girls. She never stop buying something. She were always use internet shopping from in the morning to at night. She can't live normally. She also didn't take care herself, her baby and husband. That program suggested solutions. A doctor said whoever has that problem. If you felt moody and upset, you would be able to do that.

Here, there are some advices for you. First, take a list only what you need.Second, write a spending money diary. It's good for saving money. You can check buying something many times.At the last, please don't go outside you'd rather stay at home.

Should we get married or not?

You may think about marriage occasionally or may not. There are no reasons
we have to marry and there're no reason we must not marry, either. There're lot's
of good and bad things when we got married or not.


When we didn't get married, we can have enough time to invest in our own life.
There're lot's of thing for ourselves like exercises, hobbies, study we want and
travel. But if we got married, we have to use our time to support our family.
As a result, we can't have enough time to make ourselves more developed.


We don't need to worry about complex things like children's education, relatives
by marriage. If we got married, we must have relationship whether it is simple
or complex. As our children grew up, we have to save more money to educate
them and have to prepare their marriage.


If we didn't get married, we could do anything we wanna do without someone's
permission or agreement. Whenever there is a something we want to learn,
whenever we wanna travel good places, and whenever we decided to do something,
we can choose them and can learn them. All things are just up to you whether you
want to do that or don't want to do that.


Otherwise, we are apt to spend our life whitout plan and goals without marriage.
If we got married, we could get partner and could have a common goals to achieve.

About a student'uniform

Let me introduce my topic. I want to augue about a student uniform.Do the students need to wear a uiform? In my opinion, they don,t have to wear a uniform.If they wear their everyday
clothes, they can execise their personality. but, most students have to wear a uniform. their's life is made simplication by wearing a uniform.precisely, why the students have to wear a uniform?
we can know the school where they attend is only advantage. so, I think, they dont' have to wear a uniform.

Though, some people think like this. They have to wear uniform. Because they are student. But, I don't agree with them. I think the reason dosen't be clear.

The meanings of Dreams

Everyone dreams while their sleeping. Some dreams are unforgettable because it makes an impression on people's mind. Sometimes people can predict something is going to happen to them after they dreamt because they believe each dream and things which appears in their dreams has meaning. There are many those things in Korea.

One of the examples is about pregnancy and birth. Women or their relatives dream about babies' sex and general personalities when they are pregnant. It is not shown clearly but just implied. For example, when my mom had a baby in her womb, actually it's me, she dreamt of many snakes and one of them came toward her. Generally, snakes mean that the woman who is pregnant will give birth to a female baby.

Another example is about death. If a person dreams about he/her lose his/her teeth, it means someone he/she knows will die. If a person sees someone is riding on a palanquin decorated with flowers, it's a Korean traditional palanquin and on wedding day, a bride rides it to go to groom's house, it means someone on it will die.

The other example about luck. If you see a big fire in your dream, it means you have a stroke of good luck.

Sometimes these things are correct but not every time. In my opinion, people feel something unconsciously and their dreams reflect their feeling. However, Something we can not explain exists.

The benefit of plastic surgeory

Let me introduce my topic . It has been a hot issue in all over the world . not only my country but also the other country . Why do people want to have it? There are some reason that i have guessed . Before I explain about it . I introduce about what kind of plastic surgeory we can have .

Here are some examples . nose , eyelid , tooth , jaw , outline of the face , skin , hair transplant , remove the hyperdemic fat and so on . I'm afraid that i put the other things . As I mentioned , there are so many surgeory . I can say that all of our body put on the plastic surgeory's range .

The reason why I have been side on the positive is that it hides our weakness . People don't want somebody to know their weakness. Especially about their appearance ! If somebody ask me " is it ok that your girl freind or your wife had a plastic surgeory ? " I will say " yes " . Because it doesn't matter at all .

People who don't want to support the plastic surgeory might insist that there are serious side effect . It's true and I agree to it . But this kinds of side effect usually happen to people who had so many times plastic surgeory. I think it's not everybody's problem. Let me put it another way .I'm not saying " we gotta go to hospital.

Furthermore these days The appearance's importance has been incresing . Everywhere to meet people like a cafe , restaurant . Everybody cares their appearance . Even the company . At the moment of having the job interview !

That's why I agree to it . I think to have a plastic surgeory at your weakness make you confident and competitive . I will make sure about that . I can't give the definition about having it . But To have it put you on totally different life ever than before .

Before the introduction, I'd like to talk with you about the definition of junk food. The food that is quick and easy to prepare and eat but that is thought to be bad for your health. It's the definition. As it said, it might be injurious to health. So let's talk about all sorts of junk foods.

According to critics, unhealthy food includes elements of cultural influence and moral judgement. For example, in North America, fast food, such as hamburgers and French fries supplied by companies like McDonald, KFC and Pizza Hut are often perceived as junk food. On the other hand, some foods that are considered ethnic or traditional are not generally considered junk food. Though all of these foods have little nutritional value and are high in fat from being fried in oil.

Awareness on junk food facts is lacking in every corner of the society. Junk food and children have a strong affinity to each other. This is partly so owing to junk food advertising. Clever junk food advertising and the lure of convenience in addition to taste get people to junk food addiction.

There are reasons to eat junk food. It is easy to purchase, requires little or no preparation. In addition, it is convenient to consume and has lots of flavor. The reason why someone who has a job does not have the enough rime to cook. The people tend to prefer to cook or eat junk food. Therefore, we can reduce to cooking time. That means we can have extra time.

People who eat junk food could have had a problem. Here are some junk food facts that help you understand the harmful effects of eating them. Some of them are long-term effects while other are short-term effects. Junk foods do not provide you with essential nutrients. Consumption of junk food has been associated with obesity, heart diseases and dental cavities.

When thinking about consideration to the health, in conclusion, we should have to quit eating junk foods and do not let children to get habituated to junk foods. Controlling children from eating junk foods in schools is another step that helps in a long-term. Schools administration along with parents has a responsibility to educate children about junk foods in schools. Do we need school uniform?

I’m going to talk about school uniforms. When I was in my country, I used to wear a school uniform. I’ve worn the school uniform for 6 years. At that time, “Do I need school uniform? I wish I could wear what I want to wear!” I thought. Because in winter it would be too cold and in summer it would be too hot to wear school uniforms. Students were negligent in dress. Some girls shorten their skirts too much. Some boys wear their pants taking down. Every time the teachers found this kind of situation, they used to scold. Same as my country, I think many countries have school uniforms in high school and junior high school. Why do we need school uniform? It’s kind of the control, isn’t it?

However, a school uniform is sometimes good. Imagine you had a school uniform, you could sleep about 10 minutes longer in the morning. Because you need not to think about which clothes you should wear. The 10 minutes in the morning have a big worth. If you could sleep about 10 minutes longer, you would feel better.Uniforms can also help to identify outsiders within a school. Drug dealers would have to wear uniforms in order to be able to roam the school grounds without being spotted.

But I feel that there are more bad points than good points. First, school uniforms inhibit student's individuality. We can also say that school uniforms will lessen children's individualism and creativity. Students have very little say in the daily routine of their lives, so deciding what to wear is one of the methods students have to control their lives. School uniforms will take away this form of expression. Why school districts try to make everyone look the same? Second, there is the issue of cost. Many parents can stop for their children's clothes at used and discount stores. School uniforms can cost more money than these families mighr be able to afford. Also these students would need to buy additional clothing to wear after school and on the weekends and holidays. That's double the amount of money a family would spend than they would without the school uniforms. And school uniforms are expensive but they have no use outside of the school.

Here is another problem. There is the opinion that school uniorms also help to erase lines between the social classes. Since all students will be dressed alike, it will be impossible to tell the difference from a student from a low income family and one from a high income family. But is it good thing? Don't weave to revolt the difference between lower income and higher income?

How doesn't like fast food? Almost everyone of us likes it, maybe because of its flavor, its convenience or just because of the price. But what we don't realize when we're eating this food, is that it's no healthy at all. When we talk about fast food, also known as junk food, we're talking about unhealthy food, food with poor nutritional value. This junk food contains high levels of saturated fat, sugar, or salt and numerous food additives; and at the same time it's really lacking in protein, vitamin and fiber.



Due to the capital requirements to start a fast food restaurant are relatively small, individually-owned fast food restaurants have become common throughout the world. Making the fast food industry one of the most franchised industries. Just in the United States, consumers spent about US$142 billion on fast food in 2006. That's a lot of money, and a lot of food!. And that's only for the fried fast food, junk food also includes salted snack foods, candy, gum, most sweet desserts and carbonated beverages. Generally, they offer little in terms of protein, vitamins or minerals and lots of calories from sugar or fat. This snacks and candies has also became a large industry, generating a lot of money every year.




Like I said before, the reason why this kind of food is so popular all over the world is because it is easy to purchase, requires little or no preparation, is convenient to consume and has lots of flavor. But it also has its bad side, the consumption of this kind of food has been associated with obesity, heart disease, diabetes and dental cavities. Recent studies, show us that about 177 million children and teenagers under 18 years old all over the world are overweight or obese.

Therefore, we should have to quit or at least reduce the eating of junk foods and don't let children to get habituated to this type of food. Controlling children from eating junk foods in schools is another step that would be very helpfull. Schools administration along with parents have the responsibility of educate children about junk foods in schools.

The carbon dioxide is released from cars and trucks, factories and other human activities as oil refining and power generation. Some of natual causes are solar activity and volcanic emissions.A greenhouse effect also is one of the important causes of global warming.

The impact of global warming.Global warming is a great effect on human life. It affects everything around us. It affects plants and weather around the world. We will have many diseases with global warming because of hot weather. For example, we will be having pests that will spread the diseases with hot weather.

In addition, global warming causes ocean to warm up and raise the sea level.
Also all ice like a glacier will melt and there will be no ice or place for human to live in. When people think of global warming, the first thing that came to mind is the possibility of rising sea level. There are large number of cities near costal areas, which make the rise of sea level a significant problem.

There are two major causes of a rising sea level.First, when ice melts, extra water is produced. Secondly, when it becomes warmer, it is natual expansion of sea water. There are number of damages from rising of sea level, buildings and roads could be flooded and they could suffer damage from hurricanes and storms.

What individual can do? Individual action can make a big effect to decrease the carbon dioxide level which is the biggest one of the global warming causes. One of the most important things that each one of us needs to think about is cars, especially every world. There are more than 2 cars in each house and every member of family usually use a car to go out.

We need to think about going out in one car or by bus. That will really help to reduce the carbon dioxide level. Another thing is plan trees. Trees are one good and easy way to help clean our enviroment.

Also turn off unnecessary lights and relpace incandescent light will make a diffrence.Cook withthe microwave and turn off the oven or stove is another way to reduce the heat level.

People go to the zoo for their fun because there are lots of unique animals. But do you think they really realize that they send nearly most of them to extinction today? It is not only animals but also wildlife including birds, fish, insects, and plants.

WWF, which safeguards hundreds of species around the world, focuses special attention on the following species; giant pandas, tigers, whales, rhinos, elephants, turtles and great apes. These species need special measures and extra protection in order to survive. For example, fifty years ago there were more than 100,000 tigers but now there are fewer than 5,000 left because of changing environmental destruction and poaching. When species become endangered, it is an indicator that their vital ecosystems are beginning to collapse. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service estimates that losing one planet specie can trigger the up to 30 other insects, plants, and higher animal species. Some experts have calculated that up to half of the presently existing species may become extinct by 2100.

What has changed their numbers? Redundant hunting, land development or taking human pets. The Dodo , which was three feet tall and weighed about 20 kilograms, would have been a typical animal that human beings exterminated in the past. It was a flightlessness bird and inhabited the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius. When humans first arrived, it was entirely fearless of them and its flightlessness made it easy pray. They also came over with other animals that had not existed on the island before, including dogs, pigs, cats and rats. These facts destroyed its environment and it vanished from the earth in 1681.

While the number of wildlife has decreased, human population on the other hand has been increasing. When we compare human population and wildlife extinction, the surprising data comes out. Over the past three hundred years, by the middle of 17th century there were about 450 million humans on the earth and 7 animal species become extinct. 20th century there were over 6,000 million people on earth. This century we have lost 68 species of animals. 64 species disappeared between in 1900 and 1960.

However, I read good news last month. In February 2008, Endangered Species Act, which protects plants and animals, announced that the gray wolf population in the Northern Rocky Mountains is thriving and no longer requires the protection. When they started protection programs, there were about 150 wolves but now there are more than 1,500 wolves.

From an environmental point of view this is a good news, but the gray wolf is only one of many endangered species and so many species still need to be protected until revived.

Two weeks ago, i have been to coffee shop, which named star bucks, in Finch streets. There were so many people for drinking coffee and some people were looking for seat to sit. i also needed a seat for myself. By chance, i found 3 to 4 chairs to sit around woman who was wearing ridiculous clothes that stand out different from regular people.

It seemed like she was continuous talking to someone with using an earphone. I just sat next to her without any doubt. As the time goes on, I recognized her speech was a little bit weired, inappropriate to understand. As i saw her detaily, I knew she wasn't normal person that's why no one sat around her in spite of there are a lot of chairs to sit.

She might have been schizophrenia which is kind of mental disease. what's interesting thing is although she didn't intend to be dangerous and violent, everyone who was in there seemed to try to avoid her. When i, majored nursing in the university, saw her, she was safe. If so, why we refused to sit around her? she isn't cleaning? she is talkative?

occasionally, we don't think that is a disease like cancer, hypertension, diabetic and so on. It still regards as a witch as we thought it the middle ages. It shows that even if society is developing, there is one of nothing to change in the world. What a sad! There is a book says; although one per cent of the populations in the world have been experiencing mental problem, it's true that we are too much in ignorance of psychiatric disease. I think wrong things are always caused by our ignorance and prejudice. These are examples about mental disease for helping you understand.

First, if my guess is right, everyone has heard of schizophrenia over one time. In fact, as we say about schizophrenia, it has a lot of information too much to explain.

Second, this is porphyrin disease. Porphyrin, which is one of red bliid cell's elements, is translated to hemoglobin by special enzyme. But the person who has the lack enzyme is going to feel sick by excessive accumulating into red blood cell it. It is out of the liver as the most disease.

The person who gets a disorder is suffering from symptom like abdomen pain, nausea, anemia, hypotension and so on. They are getting to be pale as a ghost due to anemia and lose their weight

because they reject to eat anything due abdomen pain, nausea and whe can find their teeth that stand out. Therefore, it can make them to be seemed like vampire. Abnormal appearance is sometimes caused psychiatric problem. In addition, it is said that most Holly movies which the main character is a vampire come from this disease.

Third, we can often see Hollywood stars who is addicted to plastic surgery in the newspaper as a gossip. Specifically, there is an emperor of pop, Michael Jackson. Despite he has a pretty good body; he had cosmetic surgery several times because he is always eager to habe a good body shape like white people. He may be got a body dysmorphic disorder as the kind of mental diseases. A person who is in this problem has a few special features. They never satisfied their body shape and when be found small problem,it isn't patient and go to the hospital for having nose a job. As the vicious circle of this, they experience a lot of side effect which is even threatened their life. when we see them, we will need generosity to see.

well yesterday i went tos chool and after school i realized that i had left in waterloo my wallet,cellphones and my house key so i hto go back right after wer were done school, it took me 1 hour to get there then i stayed there fpr the rest of the day til 10 pm thats when the last bus to toronto ryuns, while i was in waterloo i went to the mall with a bunch of friends it was pretty fun then io got a haircut as well and we went shopping for a while, after that i went back tio my girlfriends house to have some supper. it was the best meat that i have had since i got to toronto it was a del;icious roast with potatoes sop yummy after that we went to the bus station and i took the bus back to toronto then i went home and straight to bed cause i was extremely tired, i have never done this before but theres always a first time

The schizophrenia has been the most common and representative of mental diseases since the doctor was able to realize it. It has special symptoms and different responds compared to others. The first was called "delusion" that means the patients who were in it, usually believed something wrong. For example, all amnkind has known that their species was came from mammalian, but the patients who has delusion, could maintain that they were not mammalian but the creature from the external world. Next, symptom is "hallucination". The patients who has hallucination liked to talk and relate with their friends that couldnt't see and realize to normal people. In this case, their friends were made from their imagination that could be danger. Sometimes "The Hallucination" ordered and directed killing and violence to the patients that was used by movie directors for their thriller genre.

It is very fascinating to study about the porphyrin syndrome that origin of vampire from past. It has the most unordinary symptoms of the mental diseases. It is necessary to define that the porphyrin syndrome is hormone disease at first. However, the patients who has it started to think, that they are vampire because of their symptoms. The malfunction of liver has started to become this hormone disease and the blood was the realistic solution to treat their pain. The patients needed to avoid the sunlight that could be dangerous and hurt their skin. The skin was not health because of the hormon disorder. Moreover, the garlic was the worst material for them. If every causes of global warming comes from a human being, we can protect the earth from global warming. Most meteorologists insist that the earth is getting hottor because of global warming and the main factor occuring global warming is the economic act of people as emiting carbondioxide. And recently El Goer who was former vice president released a dacumentary, Inconvenient Truth, which shows environmental disasters of the world by the carbondioxide . By the way, there is another theory that is contrary to the theory already mentioned in the front. Even though just few scholars insist this theory it has fairly persuasive power. Do you want to live conveniently? If you have to do something such as dangerous works, you feel dislike. But you didn't have a choice. Just you have to do that! Anyway, if you can avoid that situation, you can. Because the rebot replaces you. If so let's find the merits and demerits.

First of all, robots are very useful. It is made for people's conveience. They can replace dangerous works. It's very good news. We can use of wide application many kind of hazards. If a person who was gotten into dangers, it can save a person's life. Also, we can use any other fields. For example, we will use rebots to do houseworks. As you know, it takes long time. However, it is not impossible. The human already makes the like kind of robots. We can applicable more and more. And then high technology is applied to everyday life

How do you think about making a car which is worked by itself. Can you velieve? We can use the robot to another section. Many countries get stick in develpoing the rebot which have boundless potentialities. Though the time is not quite mature for taking actions, it will become more conveniently, lucratively. Well, think about that. As expected, do the robot have the merits? Definitely not. Actually, it has many demerits as convenient as it.

The most important problem is the relationship between robots and people. If the robot is absed, it can kill people and be used as weapons which can destroy other countries or damage people. Besides, if someone is programing to kill other people, we are killed by a robot. It's a big concern. The other one is malfunction. The robot is made very complicate. Therfore if it doesn't work anymore, we have to spend our time working and fixing.

Then, what is the solutions? Do you have any idea? First, if we make the robot, we must comply with rules. The robot doesn't harm to a person. And if a person programs to kill someone, we can program to kill robots by themselves. You want or not we have to accept to the results.

Global Warming

Global warming has been at issue for several years over the world. In mass media, almost everyday the article of this problem has released. This is linked to environment as well as economies on the earth. In other words, it is involved with our lives. So, many scientists have studied on it and many countries have maintained the regulations to reduce the causes of the problem.

Green house gas is the most influencing factor on this problem. We call it green house effect. In the atmosphere, there are some elements called green house gas like water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane and ozone. Among them, water vapor has been the biggest part of this effect-about 36~70%. Although methane is more effective than CO2, CO2 is more influenced on it because of the amount of CO2 in air. As green gas is preventing from releasing the heat to out of the earth, the temperature has kept rising.

Feed backs and solar variation are also some of the reason of this problem. Feed back is related to the evaporation of water. At first, long lived green house gas CO2 is generated by used fossil fuels. Then, the temperature is getting high by CO2 addition to air. Finally, which has leaded to an increase in the absolute moisture contents of air.

Sun may have contributed about 45~50% of the increase in the temperature. As solar activities have been active, it would be warming of most of the stratosphere. Then, the variations in solar have contributed to recent warming. But, this effect is far too small to contribute significantly to global warming comparing to other factors.

Global warming has been leading to serious problems like glacial retreat, the increase in sea level, extreme weather events, species extinctions and emerging disease. Now, the climate has remarkably changed. It is getting harder that we expect the weather by changing patterns like flooding and drought. Because of extreme weather events, the amount of damage has been increasing over the world.

Global warming is also closed connected with population, especially the area of Asia. In Asia, these countries have a great deal of population. Because of the much high density of population in Asia, the amount of green house gas made is usually more than other countries. There are also developing countries such as China and India, so the influence of Asia could be enormous. As these countries have used a number of fossil fuels to grow in economy, the opinions that developing countries should more consider the way to develop environmentally have been stronger.

Many countries have maden efforts to reduce the damages in environment and in economy. Scientists have studied on the effective way to use fossil fuels and developing the alternative energy. In Kyoto protocol, there is regulation of emission of CO2. Also, over the world, ETS(Emission Trading Scheme) was emerging to sell the right of emission of CO2

Thanks to the development of industry, we can live comfortable. Now the industry is developing day by day, especially the development of the robots is remarkable. Therefore I'm going to talk about "Robots".

Before we start to tell robots, we're going to define the word "Robot". The robot is the machine which have the shape and function close to human and can work successively and automatically to some degree. However sometimes the shape and functions close to animals is also included. The robot is, so to speak, the machine which can understand their situation, act automatically instead of human.

These days we have lots kind of robot. We can use robots in our house and company. For example, in the house, we have the robots for cooking, security, nursing old people,pets. In the company, there are robots which can guide facilities. Those kind of robots are used in fact. Now I'm going to introduce the robots which aren't used now, but are being practiced. There are also lots kind of robots ㅡthe robots for war, developing space, lifesaving and so on. It's really useful for our life to use robots.

Though we think the robots are very useful, intelligent and convenient, there are also problems. One is the cost. If we want to buy robots, we have to pay so much money, but it'll have been cheeper when the technology is more improved. The more important problems are malfunction, misuse, abuse. If someone abuse robots for war, the order will break down. To keep our order to the earth, we must make rules about using robots.

These days, "extinction" of animals has been very known to all over the world as one of "Environmental problems". It has been appreciated that the actions to protect endangered animals are taken for granted, but how the people can do, who had threatened ecology directly.
There has been a lot of unique and weak animals in island which has been separated from any other continents. This locating situation makes the creatures lack of development. They cannot be stronger than other continential animals, because they had been able to live without some competitions.

Poor dodo, poor giant moa. While they were being hunted and chased by strangers, they must have had nothing to do about it. And, immigranted people must have had no idea, no concern about them. The dodo has been extinct since the mid-to-late 17th century, and the giant moa were also extinct by 1500. In the world, a number of animals have been endangered, and people have been worried about that.
