Global Warming

HELP OUR PLANET!!!!
THE EARTH NEEDS YOU
Gore's claim is that global warming and cooling is real and largely human-caused. In his movie Gore explains to us the important issue of this environmental problem by showing us some photographs taken of the Earth in the year 1968 by NASA astronauts, well we can describe the huge change the Earth is having by this issue. In my opinion this is a real thing that is changing our life . But the question here is what we can do to prevent the Earth from being damaged, first what are the World's nations doing. This is a very complicated problem because global warming is being caused by factory's , cars and other industrial products that are making pollution. But if we ban all factory's from making pollution the Nations will lose a lot of money so their economy will decrease. that is true but I think is more important to protect our environment.

In December 11 of 1997 the industrial nations signed the Kyoto protocol , but what is the Kyoto protocol? is a is an amendment to the international treaty on climate change, assigning mandatory emission limitations for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to the signatory nations.
The objective of the protocol is the "stabilization of greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system.

Well do I think the Kyoto protocol will end the global warming , my answer is no because this is a issue that concern all the World not only the industrial nations , we all need to help to eradicate.
Saving earth is every one's responsibility. The damages done to the earth resources have to be slowed-down and eventually stop if we want our children and grand-children to enjoy a healthy outdoor life like we can.

This problem have a lot effects in our life, though it is difficult to connect specific weather events to global warming, an increase in global temperatures may in turn cause other changes , including glacial retreat and worldwide sea level rises. Changes in the amount and pattern of precipitation may result in flooding and drought. There may also be changes in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events. Other effects may include changes in agricultural yields, reduced summer stream flows, species extinctions and increases in the range of disease vectors.

Some effects on both the natural environment and human life are, at least in part, already being attributed to global warming. A 2001 report suggests that glacier retreat, ice shelf disruption such as the Larsen Ice Shelf, sea level rise, changes in rainfall patterns, increased intensity and frequency of extreme weather events, are being attributed in part to global warming. While changes are expected for overall patterns, intensity, and frequencies, it is difficult to attribute specific events to global warming. Other expected effects include water scarcity in some regions and increased precipitation in others, changes in mountain snow pack, and adverse health effects from warmer temperatures.

Over the past several years, public perceptions and attitudes concerning the causes and importance of global warming have changed.Increased awareness of the scientific findings surrounding global warming has resulted in political and economic debate. Poor regions, particularly Africa, appear at greatest risk from the suggested effects of global warming, while their actual emissions have been negligible compared to the developed world. At the same time, developing country exemptions from provisions of the Kyoto Protocol have been criticized by the United States and Australia, and have been used as part of their rationale for continued non-ratification.In the Western world, the idea of human influence on climate and efforts to combat it has gained wider acceptance in Europe than in the United States.
