MY DREAM - Kaz

I am a medical student of 3rd grade and study medicine everyday. The way things stand I will be a doctor after graduation from university. So far I have some experiences that made my mind to choose this way, and I want to talk about those experiences.

Let’s start with some background. I have always interested in human science such as psychology, sociology and history. I dreamed of being a journalist firstly. If I were a journalist, I would try to have a thorough knowledge of society and be able to give information through the mass media. These days I did not imagined that I would change my mind.

What happened was this, I met a girl who had a severe health problem in high school. She used to be absent from physical training and sometimes failed to attend school. She and I belonged to a different class, but I was completely shocked to know how severe to live normally for people who have some health problems. If she had not had such problem, she would have much happier high school life. I regretted deeply that I had no practical skill to cure the disease because if only I had had such power, I would have treated her.

Moving on the last year of my high school, she was operated at a large hospital in Tokyo and became much better. I was keenly aware of the effectiveness of modern medicine. I thought that if I were a journalist, I would be able only to say something big, which had no practical power. On the other hand, to become a doctor seemed too responsible for me. So, I could not make my mind for long time, but eventually I decided to be a doctor.

Finally, I would like to say that I have gone a long way round and made a lot of mistakes in the course. However, now I can challenge many new things that I have never experienced because I got tougher though these regrets. So, I want to keep up the good work through all my life.

The title of my talk is"My dream."

I had met him in Vancouver who is my first English teacher. He gave a lot of idea to me. If I did not meet him, I would not come here. He is my important person. I would like talk about my dream. I want to use English next job. To study abroad was also my dream.
When I had miscommunication with someone in English, I was disappointed with myself. Sometimes I can not explain my emotion in English. I wish I were a native English speaker. But, I have never give up my English. I believe myself that the dream come true. I like studying English. I am enjoying Toronto life. Everyday is special to me.

Let's start with some background. After I had graduated my university, I worked at specialized trading company. My company was as much work as another company. I always used to work over time. My job was never done. I was getting stressful my job from day by day. If I had worked at there, I would not have gotten stress. I should not have chosen it.
I had divorced myself from reality. While I was working there, I thought that if I had been rich, I would have been able to quit my job. I had had a negative thinking about my life. I quit my job only a year and half.

Moving on, as soon as I quit my job, I wanted to try to something new. I needed to be excited. After I had quit my job,I have been to Vancouver and have stayed with my host family. I had not spoken English before I went to there. I would think, I would be all right about that. After I had met my host family, I realized that it was not all right. I should have studied English. If I had studied English in Japan, I could have talked to them a lot. they are very kind. They tried to understand my bad English. I just stayed there only one week. But, I had a great time. When I said good-bye to them, I cried and didn't want to return to Japan. The moment I said good-bye to them, I decided to study English with a serious mind. It's my turning point to study English. If I had not met them, I would not have started to study English and thought to speak English is amazing!I am lucky to meet them. I have not met them since I returned to Japan.

Finally, I would like to say that I will meet them this October. I am looking for meeting them.

About my dream...

The title of my talk is abouy my dream.
Let's start with some background.
First, when I was a child, I wish I had been a doctor. As I saw doctors on TV, I felt that they look brave and smart. If I were a doctor, could I operate a sick-person? Since I wish I had been a doctor, I always had been thinking about this. But, there was big problem. I was not good at solving math questions at all. Being a doctor was to solve math questions well. Oppositely I was good at literature and English. If I were good at math, I might be a doctor.

Another thing is when I was a high school student, I was intersted in movie and musical. So I thought that I'd rather I would be a actor. At this time, I went to movies and play theatres often. And I read lots of books and scenarios. As soon as I entered the university, I took part in musical club. My parents didn't like it. Everybody knew that it was hard way in my life. But, if I had played musical so far, I might not have come to Toronto. Finally, I came here. Why?

Moving on, after taking my major, I wish I were a banker. My major is economics. I've been loving my major and I will. I should have studied math a lot. Sometimes I have to solve economy math. so I got a poor grade in economy math.
Finally, I'd like to say if I am a banker, I can handle great amounts of money. Using stock or bond, I want to create a lot of money. In other words, I want to be a creator, not a billionaire.

My dreams

"Gary Moore", who impressed me when I was in university. When I listened to his music I was really moving. I got a sympathtic emotion. I think that he is the best guitarist who can make someone impressed, I have ever met. He made me decided that I want to be a guitarist as him. I think sure all along that all people have a dream. On the whole, the reason why human being lives is that they want to do something or want to be something. I came up with that is a dream.

I have always been interested in being a musician. Especially, a guitarist.
but I can not do this. Because of something what I did. We would say about it. It is a regret. The first regret what I did is that I should not have taken a exam for university two times. I wasted 1 year studying what I did. I think being a guitarist is very hard for me Because I started playing a guitar when I was in university. It is too late to be a pro guitarist. More often that not they start playing a guitar when they are young. It is like from elementary school, even from kindergarten. That's why my parents were not on my side when I brought up my dream. Anyway after I went to my university finally I was able to start playing a guitar.

Another thing, the second regret is that has something to do with my personality. Before I went to military service, I had been very shy. Even I could not seeing eye to eye. Especially women. If only I could turn back time, I would be more outgoing, active, brave person same as now. Anyway when it comes to performing on stage, I used to get a anxieaty. Whenever I was on the stage, I came up with something what I should have done practice more that what I did. I must have been very pepsimistic. As for me I could not do anything. I always figured out that I came to university later than normal students. That's whay I have to do something better than a student who came to university with me. They are younger than me.

All these things are pretty bad for me. But during that time I changed how I feel. I have performed over ten times and sometimes I would sing a song. I was getting used to doing something in public place or in front of people, audience.

Finally I would like to say that I have a dream to be a musicion. Because I compromised between my dreams and my real life. First, I should be used to speaking English. and I will apply to company what I want. It must be a stable job. and then I will make a coworker band. It is my dream.

Thank you all very much for reading.

My dream

by Amy

What is my future dream

Now, I'm 21years old. My dream is to become a English teacher. The reason I chose this career is that I am very interested in English. Since I was
a child, my favorite subject were English and Korean, and I studied really hard. When I was a high school student, I was interested in Languages likes English, Korean, and Franch. However, most high school students feel constraint studying English, because they have to study English for a university entrance examination. I also used to dislike English, but I still liked English. After high school graduation, I chose my major English literature. I thought that if I enter the university, I will learn practical English likes speaking and writing. But that is my big misunderstanding. Next year, I am going to complete the teaching profession for being a teacher. English is very important in the world. Most students want to speak English very well, but they usually learn grammar with annoyance while their time of a school . I'd like to change this problem.

Second reason to become a English teacher is that I want to study this subject forever as soon as possible and teach it to students. It will be very worth it when I teach my knowlege to many students. To become a English teacher, I need to know about English professionally. Therefore, I have to study harder than anyone else to become a English teacher. The reason why I am studying English in Toronto is that. Sometimes, I regret that I didn't study English a lot before I come Toronto. I should have prepared and practiced English skils in Korea.

Eventhough I can't become a teacher of national school, I'll teach English for student who need my help and passion. I'll teach English interesting. It is a future dream of mine.

Moreover, ideal life that I am thought is life that have dream always. It implants courage and challenge mind to me and inspire vitality in life that having things that desire. Even if the dream comes true although it is dream that obtain work which want being good at study at present, it lays higher target and accomplish the dream, it may try. A person who believe and try constantly my ability and passion with spirit that can do always tries always. I am doing my best to achieve the dream.

Thank you for your reading.

Spelling and Punctuation is the Responsibilty of the Upper Intermediate Student

How to Use English Punctuation Correctly

Would you like to write a great paper for one of your classes? Maybe you need to submit a polished, impeccable proposal to your boss? If so, it will help to know proper usage of punctuation.

The following is a list of common English punctuation marks and their usage.

Steps

End your sentences with a period (full stop), question mark, or exclamation point (exclamation mark or shout mark).

Use the period (full stop) to denote a full stop at the end of a statement. The period ( . ) is one of the most commonly used punctuation marks.

The accessibility of the computer has increased tremendously over the past several years.

The question mark ( ? ), used at the end of a sentence, suggests an interrogatory remark or inquiry.

What has humanity done about the growing concern of global warming?

The exclamation point (exclamation mark, shout mark)( ! ) suggests excitement or emphasis in a sentence.

I can't believe how difficult the exam was!

Use the semicolon and colon properly.
The semicolon ( ; ) has a few uses.

Use a semicolon to separate two related but independent clauses.

Note that, if the two clauses are very wordy or complex, it is better to use a period instead.

People continue to worry about the future; our failure to conserve resources has put the world at risk.

Use a semicolon to separate a complex series of items, especially those that contain commas.
I went to the show with Jake, my close friend; his friend, Jane; and her best friend, Jenna.

The colon ( : ) has multiple uses.
Use the colon to introduce a list. Be careful not to use a colon when denoting a regular series.
Usually, the word following suggests the use of a colon.
Use only after a noun.

The professor has given me three options: to retake the exam, to accept the extra credit assignment, or to fail the class.

INCORRECT - The Easter basket contained: Easter eggs, chocolate rabbits, and other candy.

Use of the hyphen

The hyphen ( - ) was once a common punctuation mark on typewriters, when a long word might have been split between two lines.

  • The hyphen is still used in a number of other areas:
  • Use a hyphen when adding a prefix to some words.
  • The purpose of this hyphen is to make the word easier to read. If you were to leave the hyphen out of a word like re-examine, it would be reexamine, which would be harder to read.
  • Understand that some words do not require a hyphen to separate the prefix from the word, such as restate, pretest, and undo.
  • Let a dictionary be your guide for when to use the hyphen after a prefix.

Cara is his ex-girlfriend.

  • Use hyphens when creating compound words from separate words.

The up-to-date newspaper reporters were quick to jump on the latest scandal.

  • Use a hyphen when writing numbers out as words. Separate the two words of any number under one hundred with a hyphen.

About my dream...

Can you see this rainbow? What does it stand for? The rainbow has various colors like our dream. Otherwise, I can tell that it has infinitive challenges.

I would like to talk about my dream. As time goes by, my dream was changed. I want to divide into my journal what I dreamed and what I dream.

First, I want to talk about what I dreamed. When I was a child, I wanted to be a Pianist. I was interested in playing a piano and I got a prize at piano contest. however, as I go to the middle school, I had to quit playing a piano. Becase I didin't have enough time to play a piano and I had to concentrate study. These days I have almost forgotten playing a piano. If I had enough time, I could have learned about playing a piano.

Second, I'm going to talk about what I dream. Nowadays, I'm very interested in tourism like hotel, travel agency, tour guide, flight attendent. That's why I wanted to enter the tourism major. Unfortunately, I failed to enter that and instead of that, I chose economics and international trade major. If I had studied hard, I could have entered tourism major. Autually, My major contains tourism but it was made lately. I'm not sure that whether my major is good or not.

To work a tourist industry, I thought that English ability is first and I was feding up with university student life such as a lot of report, my grade and my future. That's why I decided to go to the Canada and I'm here to study English. I'm attending just general English course and I'm going to take businise course. If I have a chance, I'll do Internship program about one month. Especially, a company which is related in tourism.

Finally, I would like to say that I'm interested in tourism. Even though I didn't decide my job specifically, I'll get a job that can use English and related in tourism. I convinced that Canada's life will be helpful to me getting a job in Korea. So, From now on I'll do my best about study than before.

Thank you for your attention.

My dream

When I was 7 years old, I went to kye-sung kindergarten.
I remembet that my teacher was so kind and she always smiled. I could not remember my teacher's name. But I have been have picture which I took a picture with my teacher. I really like her and sometimes I followed her teaching. At that time I think that teacher looks good.
When I was high school student, I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. I saw children who had some mental problems. I though that if I were a kindergarten teacher, I would help them. Since that I have been interested in childhood Education. At that time, if I prepared to get certificate of qualification for childhood Education, I would help myself when I studied my major.

First, while I studied my major, I have been interested in children psychology. I learned about children's psychology for 6 months at academy. We can medical care children who have mental problems. I saw many examples that children could medical care through play therapy or art therapy. It gave me a challenge. I was impressed about that. So I want to study about children psychology later.

Moving on, when I go back to Korea, I will get a job. while I work at kindergarten, I can gain experience about chileren. I think that it is very important. I need knowlege that how can I teach them and what they want to do.

Next, when I practiced at kindergarten every vacation, I think working as a kindergarten teacher could be very challenging. I have to develop myself.

Finally, I would like to say that I want to be the chief of kindergarten after 10 years. If I become the chief of kindergarten, I will give love to children. I would like to build kindergarten that children can play happliy and treatment their mental problems. I imagine in my future life, I will do my best.

My Dreams

My dream is being a cabin attendant but now, I regret a lot of things because of this dreams.
I would like to talk about my regrets.

First, I think I should have entered a high school which is located in the country which is spoken English. If I had entered this kind of high school, I would already have spoken English very well. Why did I think like this? That is because I have a friend who can speak English very well because she entered a high school in New Zealand. Whenever I studied for English exam, I envied her.

Second, I also think if I were an English native speaker, I would not have need to study English heardly just like now. However, if I were not Japanese, I would not meet Japanese cultures: Kimono, Sushi, Japanese manner, Japanese tea and so on. So, even if I sometimes wish my nationality was changed, I was still proud of my nationality. However, it is true I can not help wishing about changing my nationality whenever I study English.

Now, I have two minds. One of them is that I do not want to change my nationality, and one of them is the wish about having a different nationality. It is difficult to solve the problem, but I found the solution.

The solution is if I had parents whose nationalities are Japanese and the coutry which is spoken English. If I had parents who speak Japanese and English, I could already speak the two languages fluently.

However now, I have a different problem which is that my parents have to be different people, but I love my parents very much and I do not want to change my parents.

So, finally, I reached the final wish. I wish my family immigrated to Canada. I already met Japanese cultures, I do not need to change my parents and I do not need to regret that I had not entered the high school which is located in the English country. Therefore, I think this wish is the best.

However, it is also almost impossible. So anyway, if I want to be a cabin attendant, I have to study English by myself. Therefore, I would like to do my best for my dream with looking at my future and without regrets.

My dreams

I would like to talk about my dreams and regrets in my life. My major is Medicine. I need to study six years more to fiinish my school. If i want to be an specialist, I have to study four years more. I am studying Engkish beacuse it will be important for my job. I can speak French too. If I improve my English and French, I can choose between study part of my university in France or Canada.

First, I would talk about my regrets. If I had not failed in my first exam to enter in the public university, I would not have choose to do a private university. Last year, when I did the exam for the second time to enter in the public university, I succeed. It was one encridible situation. The public unversities in Brazil usually are better than private universities because you do not need to pay and the best professors teach there. After I succeed in my second exam, I knew that if I had not been so nervous in first exam, I could have succeed.
Moving on, I would talk about dreams that did not happen how I imagined. For example, when I decided to do the private university, I fulfill my dream of do Medical School. In this school, I could meet a lot of good and unforgetable freinds and I certain that I do want to be a doctor. Another example, when I succeed in my second exam to enter in the public university, I fulfill my dream of live in another country.

After a finish my university,I'm taking medical school, if I have a chance, I want to do the same especiality as my father. This espeaciallity is very difficult in my city and is very popular.
During my university, exactly in my fifth year, I need to start to practice and I can study in any hospital. I would like to go to France and study there. So, I really need to improve my french after I come back to Brazil.

MY SWEET FRIEND JISU

The title of my talk is Jisu. I met Jisu in PGIC for the first time and we've been together for over 3 months. During that time I found that she is nice, wonderful and owesome!

Let's start with some background. She is Korean and lives in Seoul. She is tall and good looking. She is interested in fashion so she is always fashionable. She likes pink colour that's why she has lots of pink things. Gaze into her stuff, you can find many pinks! Even though she's become an adult, she usually eats mint chocolate icecream and chocolate cookies becuase she would eat junk food when she was young. She always drinks green tea frappuccino in starbucks because she didn't use to drink coffee so she would drink green tea. She is very diligent. She got up very early every morning. when she was in highshcool, she used to study in the morning before she went to shcool.
Another thing I'd like to say about Jisu is that she is so thoughtful person. She always helps other people. Whenever I am in a trouble, she becomes a good listener and gives me some advice. Whenever I'm sick, she takes care of me and give me some medicine. So I even feel she is like my mother in here.
Finally, I want to say that I always thank her. It was so lucky meeting Jisu for me. I want to keep our relationship forever!

My partner Han

I'd like to introduce my partner 'Han' to my classmates. He is from Korea and studied economics in his university. He is 26 years old. But he looks younger than I expect. Han has a family of four. His family consists of his parents and one younger brother. his favorite pastime is spending time watching movies. He want to be a banker after graduating from his unversity. Han has been studying English since he came to Toronto on January 27th, and He'll keep staying here until this December or next January.

Now, I'll talk about what he usually does . He sometimes get bored when he is alone. And he spends 1~2 hours watching TV everyday. I think that he usually uses his evening time to
improve his english with watching TV . It also can help him not to get bored. he generally gets up 7 o'clock. It's almost impossible to happen to me. So while I was talked with Han about his habbit , I figured that he is a kind of industrious person. He normally doesn't go skiing in the winter. Whenever He has a dream while he is sleeping, he can remember everything about his dream when he wakes up. I was astonished when I heared about that fact because I usually think it is impossible to remember all things about a dream.

After I finished talking with Han, I thought he is a nice and hardworking person and has a unique feature. I was happy to meet him. I hope I'll make a good relationship with him.

Kwang- Woo is....

The title of my talk is my partner's introduction. I want talk about Kwang-Woo because he is my partner.
Let us start with some background.
First, my partner's name is Kwang-Woo. He is 24 years old. He has been here for 6 months. He said he will stay here until this December it is the same as me.
Another thing, his major is computer engineering. I think this major is difficult. I guess maybe Kwang-Woo is good at solving math subject. For example, when I was in Korea, my math grade was C+ or B. Besides, most of Korean students dislike solving math questions as I know.

Moving on, He lives in Jam-sil in Korea. He has a younger sister. He likes playing with ball like soccer and basketball. So I think that's why he usually wears simple T-shirt and basketball shoes is he likes playing soccer and basketball. Probably when he was in Korea, he might use to play soccer or basketball. So I think he might be used to playing basketball or soccer in Toronto.
I'd now like to turn to his wish. He wanna be a rich guy like Donald Trumph or Warren Buffett. Actually, my dream is a being billionaire also. I'm not sure that how he can make a lot of money. I'm going to ask him about this.
He said he would ride a bicycle at least once a week. But I'm not sure that whether he does or not here.

Finally, I'd like to say first impression about him. When I saw him first, he looked smart and organized. After interviewing him, I felt that he is active and easygoing than I thought. Anyway, he looks good. So I expect we will have a good time in this session.

My Partner Eriko

I'd like to introduce my partner Eriko. She's Japanese and 25 years old. Before she came to Toronto, she'd worked at clothes shop in Japan. This is her 4th session. When I first talked with her, I thought she is so charming and kind person. She has a nice personality and tries to study English harder. She is not serious, suddenly she told me funny things and jokes!I've spent with her only 1 week in this class, but I know and everyone might know she asked Mark to solve her questions every after class.

Now I'm going to introduce her hobbies and life. She likes listening to music, talking, taking a walk and so on.Especially she loves reggae,HipHop and rock music. I also love music! But I don't know reggae music exactly. I want her to ask about it next time. She also likes snowboarding.Every winter she goes to Niigata in Japan. Niigata is the famous and popular place for skiing and snowboarding in Japan. When she was a child, she would go to Hokkaido too. Her grandparents live there. Everytime she went to Hokkaido, she used to take a plane. She's not used to taking a plane yet. When she flies, she feels nervous. She can't forget some airplane accidents. She loves traveling, but she hates airplane.

When she was in Japan, she worked at clothes shop. Her major was fashion. She used to buy a lot of clothes when she was a student. Now she tries to save money for traveling. And she lives in a hostel now. It's so interesting to me. She has many foreigner friends in hostel. It's good for English. When I talked with her, she said to me "If you become a homeless, please come to our hostel!" I was so surprised. She said to me about it suddenly! Now I'm interested in hostel .

Anyway, she has many experiences and nice character. Please talk with her more. You can enjoy and spend a good time with her. And you may also get something good from Eriko.

My partner Minatu

My parter is Minatu.

When I first met her, I knew her Korean. The reason why I knew her Korean is that her appearance looks like Korean woman. I felt she is so qute and pretty. Actually, she is Japanese, but I strangely feel a kind of intimacy to her . The why is that we have some similarity, so I'll briefly introduce about her.

Minatu's age is 21 and her major is English literature. Those are same with me. When I told my English name to her, She wanted to know my Korea name. I was surprised, because my Korea name is difficult to pronounce except for Korean. She said that she has some Korean friends and she knows Korean a little bit, so she is prefer Korea name to English name. Her personality that I see and feel is nice, active and mild. Whenever she is alone, she is always bored. She enjoys watching tv and sleeping when she has a time. She usually gets up 7 o'clock except for a weekend. Moreover, she likes go snowboarding in winter. When she was a child, her father used to go skiing every winter. She said that when she was a child, she would feel cold and tiresome, so she didn't like go skiing. But now she is used to skiing and snowboarding. She likes go snowboarding better than skiing. She has never went abroad for her holidays with her family. She may frequently miss her family whenever she visits nice and new place in Toronto.

I'd like to express her like that she always lives with her dreams and plans. She never forget her dream from her childhood to now. In addition, she plans for her future everyday. I heard a saying once like that The person loves oneself who lives with own dream everyday. I think that Minatu loves and makes much of herself. If she is ok, I'd like to be intimate with her.

Let's start with some background about him. He has arrived in Toronto in the middle of July and he is going to stay one month half month. Is it too short? In my opinion, it's too short to enjoy Toronto life. Because Toronto has a lot of tourist attractions and festivals. In his case, he came here during his vacation That's why he has to go back to Mexico the end of the August for his job. Even though the time is too short, I think that he will enjoy Toronto life.

Another thing is that she could ride a ski. but she doesn't like go sking. Because she thinks it's very dangerous sports and it can be hurt. She worried about that. Her thought is same as me. Moving on,she plans for her future that she makes a list to do that. She always does her best. When she was young, she went to bed anytime. If she wants to do something, she did. After that she went to bed.she had a freedom at that time.

So far I spent the time with her, I think that she is active and outgoing. She is a good listener and very thoughtful person. That's why I like her. Finally, I would like to say that,I hope our friendship will last forever.

Rie's Life

The tittle of my journal is Rie's Life. First, this japanese girl is only twenty two years old, but she is really mature. She knows that improve her English is very importatnt for her career. So, she is trying hard, even though she thinks this is not true. This Japanese is a university student. Her major is political science, that subject would be very difficult for me study. She is living in Toronto since February, and I know her since April.

Let us start with some background. When she was younger, she used to clean her room by herself at least once a week because she is used to being organized. When she was four years old, she traveled to Hawai and when she was eleven years old, she went to Canada. These were the two times that she went abroad for holidays with her family. So, she was not used to traveling abroad.

Another thing is that Rie used to have lunch at school because her classes were in the morning and afternoon. She was used to bring her lunch from home or to buy it from school. Rie did not like to go bed aerly on school nights, because she liked to watch japanese TV programs at night time. When she was in the high school, she usually went out on weeknights. She thinks that she was not a good student and that her school was very easy. She would spend hours thinking about her future. She used to do plans for her life.

Moving on, in Toronto, she is not used to being alone. She can be bored if that happened. Rie is uesd to watching TV in the evening everyday. She is trying to improve her english. she went to skiing every winter when she lived in Japan. Maybe, she likes adventures once that she thinks that the felling of fly is really exceting. So, she have never been nervous when she take a plane. She rarely can remember a dream, but she would like to remember.

Finally, I would like to say that, if you know this sweet girl, you can learn a lot of interesting stories about her chilhood and plans for the future.

My partner is...

The title of my talk is about Lara who is from Brazil. Let's start with some our background. This is her fifth session and I met her when I took TAPPS class. At first,I thought she is a very talkative person because usually South American students are really talkative and aggressive but in that class, I saw she is the shiest person that I had ever met from South America.
During TAPPS class, what happened was this, she'd be very quiet .But when I asked her her opinions, invariably she told me that and good thoughts, and then I rearized she is very shy especially in front of class, once I talked with her, naturally she showed me her nice charactor. That is why I really like her and I want you to know her much more!

In any case, I am now going to talk about Lara. She is 20 years old. When she was in Brazil, she was an university student,1st year. Her major is medicine,so she has to go to school for 6 years and she has a younger sister who is 15 years old,but looks really feminine women. Her younger sister also is in USA to study English.

She wakes up without an alarm clock twice a week and sometimes goes to the library to borrows books. she really likes milk!in the morning she drinks milk everyday more than coffee or tea, that is why she is tall and slim.

Now she is home staying near the Kennedy station,so she has to take the bus and the train to commute school everyday. When she was a child, she used to feel nervous when she met new people almost everytime and now still she is shy.And she never read the newspaper only teenager's magazine she read. She used to go to bed around 11 in the evening, and now almost same. But only on weekend, she goes to bed 2 or 3 in midnight to go to the night clubs or the drinking parties.Actually same as me!

she used to eat junk foods everyday:pizza, chips, cookies and hamburgers...and so on,after she finished her school or in the school, and in Brazil, some students who go to the private school usually commute the school by mother's car, because they don't have school bus.Other students who go to the public school usually commute the school on foot or by school bus.Lara used to go to private schoool. It takes about 5 minutes! When I heard this time,I was really surprised and envied her.
Lastly, she used to ride a bicycle on vacation.I think when she was a child, she was a really active and attractive girl as same as now.
After you talk with her,you must like her much more!

Seoyoung

The title of my talk is "Seoyoung." She is from Korea.
However, when I saw her at first, I thought she is Japanese. Why did I think that? Simply because I know one of my friend who likes her. She is 21 years old, same as me. Her major is English literature, same as me. she and me have a lot in common. So, I want to talk about our similarities.

Let's start with our daily life. First, our days always are started by cell phone alarm clock because we have to go to the school by taking the subway. Usually, she does not eat breakfast in her homestay, so, I little worry about her. However, she always eat lunch in her school properly.

Another thing is that she also have same bad habits as me. For example, we usually do not read the newspaper. we only read it when we need some information. In addition, if we met new people, we can't help feeling nurvous.

We have a lot of simlarities but she has a special skills which I do not have. She able to memorize people's telephone number. For example, her friends' and familys' phone numbers. However, I have never memorized people's number, only my home's telephone number and cell phone number.

I felt she is good at numbers and she respects another people. So, I want to be able to memorize numbers of people just like Seoyoung. I think I have a lot of things which I learn from her.

Finally, I would like to say that I 'm glad to see her.
