Junk food


Before the introduction, I'd like to talk with you about the definition of junk food. The food that is quick and easy to prepare and eat but that is thought to be bad for your health. It's the definition. As it said, it might be injurious to health. So let's talk about all sorts of junk foods.


According to critics, unhealthy food includes elements of cultural influence and moral judgement. For example, in North America, fast food, such as hamburgers and French fries supplied by companies like McDonald, KFC and Pizza Hut are often perceived as junk food. On the other hand, some foods that are considered ethnic or traditional are not generally considered junk food. Though all of these foods have little nutritional value and are high in fat from being fried in oil.


Awareness on junk food facts is lacking in every corner of the society. Junk food and children have a strong affinity to each other. This is partly so owing to junk food advertising. Clever junk food advertising and the lure of convenience in addition to taste get people to junk food addiction.


There are reasons to eat junk food. It is easy to purchase, requires little or no preparation. In addition, it is convenient to consume and has lots of flavor. The reason why someone who has a job does not have the enough rime to cook. The people tend to prefer to cook or eat junk food. Therefore, we can reduce to cooking time. That means we can have extra time.


People who eat junk food could have had a problem. Here are some junk food facts that help you understand the harmful effects of eating them. Some of them are long-term effects while other are short-term effects. Junk foods do not provide you with essential nutrients. Consumption of junk food has been associated with obesity, heart diseases and dental cavities.


When thinking about consideration to the health, in conclusion, we should have to quit eating junk foods and do not let children to get habituated to junk foods. Controlling children from eating junk foods in schools is another step that helps in a long-term. Schools administration along with parents has a responsibility to educate children about junk foods in schools. Besides developing awareness for fitness which helps you separate junk foods and diet from your regimen.
