Japanese Traditional Clothes, Kimono
My friend, Keiko gave a presentation about Japanese traditional clothes, Kimono in her Academic English class, so I joined her presentation as a volunteer on November 3, 2009. She explained general ideas of traditional wear and how to wear it. I gave a demonstration with her teacher, Mary and classmates. In addition, Heather’s class, Jennifer and Yoon came to watch our presentation. We were glad to show our presentation because majority of her classmates are form Saudi Arabia. Japanese culture is not familiar for them; therefore, they were curious to know Japan and some of them tried to wear Kimono. We were proud of our successful presentation.
