A teacher I’ll never forget

Through the university to graduate school, I learned from professor Oshitani. He was influenced on my thought, most of which are based on his thought including not only academic area but also common sense. We have a generation gap; however, his instruction taught me how important to study academic area and obey the social regulation. In his class I could learn precious teachings and it was helpful in my life. Originally, I was living with my grandparents, so I was comfortable with listening older people’s experiences and opinions. On the other hand, nuclear families are getting common in Japan; therefore, student who are from nuclear families are not familiar with older generations to build up relationships. To live with extended family was a strong advantage of me.
Compare with my school career and my university friend’s, my career is a little longer than them because I was taking teacher-training course, museum curator course, and librarian course. Therefore I needed time for study to complete finish my university programs. He always supported me strictly, but I never gave up. Consequently, I become more confident and I could have a successful live in the university. I am appreciating my professor.
