An older person I admire...

An older person I admire is my mother. She is 46 years old and has five sweet children, I am the youngest as my mother. She is also going to get a second grandchild next year. She has had[has been] a good relationship with my father and us for a long time. She did not have a lot of friends because she was a housewife and did not have any co-workers, but she has made more friends by join a institution lately.

She is magnanimous and kindhearted, for that reason she is really enjoy being a volunteer to help the poor, the old and orphans. Even though she has has had arthritis[been aching]for many years, she prefers to do good things rather than stay at home. Because of her arthritis[aching] she has been doing yoga for a half year. It was quite difficult for her to do yoga, but she got used to doing it. When I told her it was also hard for me to learn English in Canada and sometimes I felt upset about that, She always told me her experience which she had overcome doing yoga, and it encouraged me a lot.

My mother is used to telling me not to give up.
