I think she'd never got any education because it was not common for a woman to go to school at that time. She was a tenant farmer. She used to get up before sunrise and go to bed late at night. She would go to neighborhood to get food because it was always insufficient in her house. She did part time job when work of farming was not busy. She used to knit for money.
She had to support her family because her poor husband died early. She had to get used to working hard. That's why she advised me to marry a rich guy. Anyway, she lives alone now even though she has 4 children. She doesn't look to her children for help. I think she's a strong woman. If you meet her, you will feel like that too.
