Language is a privilege for human beings. Human beings are fed up with talking with each other. It is kind of boring. They started to have pets as friends like dogs, cats, birds and even snakes. One day, what would happen if vegetables could talk? It would be big chaos but human would try to find something interesting with them and some people would want to use them for their interest on the other hand some people would want to protect them.
Vegetables that can talk could be pets. People are always looking for something new. It might be big fashion. Also, It would be a very big business because if people had a vegetable as a their pet they might want to keep it alive as long as possible. People might want to make special house and medication and so on. It could be also possible that some vegetable could be given some special education and then they could be used for children education, depressed patients and visually impaired people.
If vegetables could talk, that means they also would be influenced by cultures. It would be a good idea to trade vegetables for the purpose of learning languages and cultures. Vegetables that can talk could be good tutors. For example, if someone wanted to learn English, he/she could buy a vegetable from the countries that use English as the first language. People could get a tutor which can speak language as a native with small payment compare to go abroad or get a tutor who is real human.
That would be very funny. Vegetarian might have a big problem. They would have conflict over eating vegetables. Some vegetarians do not eat meats and that kinds of things because they think meats are from killing animals. According to this reason, many vegetarian would reject to eat vegetables. However, there would still be some people who want to eat vegetables for their health. It would be possible to have conflict between vegetarians with destruction of life.
It seems like very exciting to talk with vegetables. In fact, if vegetables could talk, they would be respected as life more than animal. Also, They would be closer with human just like animal have done before. However, if I were a vegetable that can talk, I would not talk to people because if people found vegetables that can speak. The vegetables might have to speak when people want to hear. If I were the vegetable, I would just keep it a secret.
